Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel (born December 2 1998) is an American actress. Her performances include daytime television as well as episodic guest performances as well as TV-related films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. She played the role Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Early life
Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who was an Orthodox rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).
In 1970, she moved to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a young person. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father led Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's very first appearance in General Hospital. The first time she appeared on the show was in 1993 as a manager of a band. Her first television role was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap show that revolved around Loving (1988-91).
